Recently RBI has stated 200 ₹ notes to soon arrive in market. RbI also stated that the printing has been started for the same. The introduction of 200 ₹ note will add to the ease of operation in day to day transaction. As the 200 ₹ note will act as the missing middle between 100 and 500.
After demonetization, 2000 and 500 ₹ notes were brought by the government all of a sudden and no security measures were purposely done. People also made clones to both 500 and 2000 ₹ notes.
But the 200 ₹ note will not be the same. " The new note will carry advanced security features. The authorities are taking extra precaution to prevent counterfitting ", said a source from the printing schedule.
Currently these notes are going through different levels of security and quality checks at the government's press units at Hoshangabad ( M.P )
The printing place of currency notes is not disclosed yet.
