Snapdragon has unveiled their new processor, i.e Snapdragon 450. This processor is basically made for the entry level smartphones. Presently the Snapdragon 430 is very popular among the budget smartphones. The new processor will give a hard competition to its previous sibling.
Now, we will take a glance at what is different in the new processor and what it actually offers.
Highlights of the new processor :-
◆ The 450 processor is built on 14 NM technology where as the previous processors i.e 430 and 435 were built on 28 NM technology.
◆ This processor is a powerful processor and is also very power efficient, which means it will also extend the battery life of our smartphones.
◆ This processor provides dual camera support upto 13 mega pixel each and single camera upto 21 mega pixel.
A highlighting feature of this processor is that it will help us take pictures in portrait mode, i.e real time bookey effects. This feature is presently provided in only flagship grade processors.
◆ This processor will provide support to Aderno 506 GPU which is presently working in SoC625.
In some ways, this new processor is replica to SoC 625.
◆ It will also provide Quick Charge 3.0
Atlast, we would say that the new processor will take the experience of budget smartphones to another level. It is a very balanced processor and is worth a wait.
This processor will be available in the smartphones to that will arrive in late 2017 or early 2018.
